All our packaging is recyclable, and our bottles are made out of post-consumer recycled plastic. Recycling is like Karma, what goes around comes around. We’re proud of our sourcing provenance and all of our cartons are Forest Sustainability Certified.
It is only medicines that are specifically tested for safety in pregnancy, not body care products. However, any legal European body care product will not contain ingredients regarded as unsafe during pregnancy.
Whilst we try to stock samples where possible, availability is very limited. If you have an enquiry regarding any of our products, please don’t hesitate to get in touch and we shall advise accordingly. We do stock a number of trial size products including our Complete Discovery Sets, which allow you to try our ranges before purchasing full size products.

As a holistic brand we don’t, and will never, test on animals. We do not sell to countries where testing is obligatory and we avoid using ingredients that are tested on animals.
All of our products are certified by the Vegetarian Society, with most suitable for vegans. We do not use animal-derived ingredients, except cruelty-free natural honey or beeswax.
Whilst most of our products are vegan-friendly, the following products are not: Day Cream, Night Cream and Exfoliating Facial Polish.

All of our products are composed of a bespoke selection of natural ingredients. If you have particularly sensitive skin, we would recommend the Soothing range which contains Ayurvedic sandalwood, organic aloe vera juice and arjuna heartwood. This range soothes sensitive skin and provides vital skin clarification.
Sweet almond oil (Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis) is utilised within the following products: Purifying Day Cream, Purifying Night Cream, Radiance Day Cream, Radiance Night Cream, Soothing Day Cream, Soothing Night Cream, Reviving Day Cream and Reviving Night Cream.

Once opened, Urban Veda products should be used within 12 months.

The Radiance range aims to revitalise dry, lack-lustre complexions, to lock in moisture and help the skin to retain its natural glow. The Reviving range is suitable for all skin types and helps to plump and pamper tired and mature skin.
Our most popular range is the Purifying range, designed for oil prone skin and matched to the “Kapha” dosha. It has already won 11 industry and consumer led awards which is fantastic for such a young brand.
